Le Velo is a bicycle cafe with a river view at Wentworth Point, Sydney. Wentworth Point is a perfect location for a community hub for people who want activity and a bubbly social lifestyle.
The cafe is required to incorporate graffiti wall art and bold colours that are bike-friendly, sustainable, contemporary, and industrial by the client.
The concept behind the design was to integrate an industrial chic aesthetic and using by bright colours to offer bright energy to people. To appeal to the demographic, space is made for bicycle-friendly and quick and easy takeaway shops. It used rustic brick on the wall to express industrial mood and yellow colour that stand for freshness and happiness.
A feature wall decorated with graffiti draws the attention of hipsters. As this cafe is bicycle friendly, The bicycle accessory and repair shop is added outside of the cafe. The repair shop is designed as a workshop facility so people can learn how to fix and practice inside.
